Job Summary:
The IT Support Technician plays a crucial hands-on role in maintaining and troubleshooting the organisations IT systems, ensuring optimal performance across multiple sites. This includes diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, as well as assisting with the setup and maintenance of IT equipment. The Technician will be responsible for onsite support, including responding to user requests, attending to network faults, and maintaining essential IT hardware. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across a range of technologies in a dynamic, multisite environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Hardware and Software Support
Offer timely technical support to users, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
Set up and configure workstations, including PCs, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
Install and update software and drivers to ensure all systems operate efficiently.
Check computer hardware (HDD/SSD, RAM, keyboards, monitors, etc.) to ensure full functionality.
