Your Role
Join our team to manage client bookings, support Freight Account Managers, and ensure smooth shipment operations. You'll handle invoicing, resolve issues, and contribute to a collaborative team culture. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and security standards.
Your Responsibilities
* Efficiently process bookings from clients and overseas agents onto the system.
* Provide operational support for the Freight Account Managers when required.
* Liaise with all relevant parties throughout the shipment to organise the movement of goods.
* Deal with any issues that may arise during a shipment and ensure the client and/or Freight Account Manager is updated.
* Process sales and purchase invoices of the branch.
* Work at all times to enable and develop a team culture.
* Complete any reasonable task requested by your supervisor/manager in a timely manner.
* Aid in the completion of other departmental work when necessary to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the department as a whole.
* Understand and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure the safety of yourself and your colleagues.
* Be responsible for your own safety and health and that of colleagues in accordance with company safety and health rules.
* Report any safety hazards or near misses promptly.
* Ensure full compliance with relevant ISO 9001 standards, K+N Quality Management System, and any customer-specific requirements.
* Ensure full compliance with Kuehne+Nagel security standards.
* Ensure full compliance with OHSAS18001 and K+N work instructions and guidance for Health and Safety.
Your Skills and Experiences
* Secondary school education or equivalent with the ability to use Maths and English to an operational and professional standard.
* Excellent Customer Service skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
