Service Leader (Level 1) - Supported Living

Up to £30,000 DOE
37.5 hours per week
We are looking for a professional & passionate Service Leader to join a progressive, well established and reputable charity managing their supported living services at their established service in the Tullibody area.
The service caters for 6 individuals who each live within their own bungalows. The individuals suffer with visual & hearing impairment, learning disabilities, autism & mental health issues.
They have a range of interests such as dancing, music, gardening & cooking & each bungalow has it's own dedicated staff team, offering 1.1 support. The team compromises of approx.. 25 staff but the team is growing!

The Service itself:
• Managing a team of advance support practitioners with the support of a Senior Service Manager
• Supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism & Mental health issues
• Supporting the service users in everyday tasks & ensuring the best level of care is provided at all times
• Participating & supporting the service users in their hobbies & communicating positively with their families
My client is seeking a strong, individual with drive and commitment who is seeking a new exciting challenge. They are looking for someone who is looking for a long term role & is passionate & dedicated to person centred care & working alongside & supporting a team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a supported living service.
As the Service Leader the following is required:
• Current SSSC or equivalent registration or the ability to be registered on taking up the post.
• A Full Driving licence is essential
• Experience with managing & working within LD & MH services
• Previous experience in managing services within a supported living service is essential and a relevant management qualification is desirable (SVQ Level 4 Health & Social Care or working towards)
• Excellent organisational and communicating skills
