Water Treatment Engineer
Location: North East with UK wide travelling
Salary: £32k per annum & travel and package
A rapidly expanding, well-established water treatment company based in the Northeast of England is seeking an experienced field-based water treatment engineer to join their team due to long-term contract wins.
Responsibilities:
* Routine servicing and attendance to clients' installations
* Removal of obsolete systems and installation of new equipment
* Call-out attendance to diagnose and repair faults and installations
* Providing technical assistance on company products for clients
* Completing reports accurately on-site visits
* Water hygiene tasks for clients
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Water softeners
* Reverse Osmosis/Demin systems
* Filtration and Dosing Equipment
* UV units
* Basic water analysis
* Closed system dosing and analysis
* Calorifier pasteurisation
* Disinfection of buildings & chlorination of water tanks
* Pre-commissioning cleans and flushing
* Spa balance tank cleans
* Water hygiene tasks including temperatures, sampling, shower head cleans
* TMV servicing/testing

Job Details:
* Salary: £30k to £32k (dependent on experience and skills)
* Monday - Friday - 40 hours a week
* Full-time permanent position following probation period
* 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays - additional day for each year worked to a maximum of 5 additional days
* Overtime available

Required Qualifications & Experience:
* City & Guilds (or equivalent)
* Recognised qualification/working knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering
* Existing knowledge of water treatment with at least 5 years' experience
* Water hygiene experience of at least 5 years
* CSCS card would be an advantage
* Full clean driving licence
