Receptionist required for a leading facilities management company. The business looks after a large customer base, from banks to retail to government offices. The Company puts their customers at the heart of everything they do and are keen to hire a Receptionist who is passionate about delivering 1st class customer service. You will be responsible for providing front of house services for reception, switchboard, and coordinating and escalating any facilities related issues as appropriate. This role would suit someone with proven reception experience and offers a competitive salary of up to GBP26,000pa.
What will you be doing as a Receptionist?
1. Management of the Front of House services
2. Greet, assist and direct candidates, new hires, visitors and contractors to the appropriate member of staff
3. Receive, direct and relay telephone, email and other queries
4. Maintain the high standards of the Front of House and office areas, keeping them in good order
5. Administration of parking spaces, allocating visitor spaces
6. Arranging taxis for clients, staff and visitors as requested
7. Manage onsite meeting rooms arranging refreshments and hospitality requirements
8. Manage a number of inboxes and processes that support the business including travel requests from staff, internal purchase orders and general enquiries to the business
9. Conduct daily meeting room checks
10. Handle all incoming and outgoing mail including courier bookings
11. Assist in coordinating the repair and maintenance of the site and office equipment
12. Issuing ID and access badges for new hires, visitors and vendors
13. Maintain the visitors sign-in book
14. Monitor and ensure office housekeeping and cleanliness is delivered to the highest quality
15. Champion company office policies and procedures
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
1. Proven experience working as a receptionist / Front of house role is required
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
3. Good organisational and interpersonal skills
4. Excellent customer service skills with a passion to deliver first class service
5. Ability to work well from your own initiative
6. Knowledge of FM practices & procedures would be an advantage, but is not essential
