It’s an exciting time to join Warwick District Council’s Neighbourhood and Assets team, as we deliver on a variety of building projects for the Council’s housing stock and to our many historic buildings. Our projects are varied and interesting and will provide you with building project challenges not often found within our sector.
We are looking for a Building Surveyor to join our experienced team on a permanent basis. This role will specialise in surveys and works to eradicate Damp and Mould, so experience with root cause analysis and ensuring expert lasting solutions is key. Some of these cases may involve working closely with the Disrepair Surveyor. Your work will ensure the Council meets the Regulator of Social Housing's Safety and Quality Standard.
Our work also involves specifying and managing other works to the Council’s housing stock and providing aids and adaptations work for our tenants, as well as work to our corporate and commercial premises including many buildings in conservation areas and several which are of regional and national importance.
We work on an agile basis, with much of our work being delivered either on site or from home; office and hybrid working are also available. While home working is offered for this role, it is a requirement that the successful candidate be available to attend sites and meetings at our offices within Warwick district when required.
