Salary: £43,000 - £45,000

Responsibilities of the successful Quality Engineer
1. Apply your expertise in statistical process control (SPC) to analyse and enhance process capability.
2. Utilise tools such as MSE and PPAP to maintain and improve quality standards, including preparing and supplying PPAPs to suppliers.
3. Conduct internal audits with confidence and assist in ISO 9001 and customer audits as needed.
4. Serve as the key point of contact for both suppliers and customers, fostering strong relationships and addressing quality-related challenges.
5. Analyse data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
Requirements of the successful Quality Engineer
1. Experience in an ISO 9001-approved manufacturing company (ISO 16949 is a bonus).
2. A background in fasteners is highly desirable; alternatively, automotive, railway, or defence is also accepted.
3. Deep knowledge of core quality tools, including PPAP and MSA.
4. Internal auditing experience or qualifications.
5. Confidence in handling ISO 9001 and customer audits.
6. A sharp eye for data analysis and problem-solving.
7. Excellent communication skills and a track record of working directly with customers and suppliers.
