YOUR ROLE
Our Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) team offer a unique service from global mobility to fleet management services, providing our customers with vehicle transportation, storage, preparation, customisation and transformation. We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager who will deliver a first class service to our customers ensuring management and coordination of all workshop and body shop activities.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
* Responsible for effectively and efficiently managing daily operational planning of all activities and resource relating to the technical department to ensure all dedicated deadlines are met by teams.
* Oversee and monitor compliance of departments efficiencies and productivity.
* Provide and regularly review control measures to continually improve production of quality.
* Monitor the quality of the operations carried out and provide solutions for dealing with detected anomalies.
* Lead and manage complex projects.
* Closely manage all expenditure.
* Regularly communicate information to all team members to improve awareness of performance and expectations.
* Ensure working instructions are kept up to date and in correct format.
* Contribute to the safety of the goods, people and to the continuity of the operations by monitoring the proper application of CEVA's safety policy as well as preventative and corrective measures.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful in this role it is essential you have a good understanding of an FVL operation, including body shop and repair shop. You will have proven experience of managing a sizeable team and the ability to understand P&L implications.
You will be able to demonstrate experience of building and developing exceptional client relationships and possess strong people management skills with the understanding of safety regulations and practices in the automotive industry.
