Description
* Oversee the monthly management accounts process, including sales ledger entries, accrued income, and debtor control reconciliation.
* Manage revenue and bad debt reconciliations within the P&L.
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations for debtor movements, VAT, CCL, and cash.
* Handle bad debt provisioning and write-offs.
* Prepare KPI reports for inclusion in Board presentations.
* Collaborate with the business and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders across various departments.
* Proactively identify and address business risks.
* Analyse revenue transactions for accurate P&L coding and tax compliance.
* Work with the Group Risk & Internal Audit Manager to ensure effective internal controls and procedures.
* Support the annual audit and statutory accounts process.
* Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritising multiple deadlines.
* Conduct ad-hoc analysis and tasks as required by the business.
Profile
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
* Skilled - Excellent MS excel skills are required.
* Knowledgeable - you are technically strong with up to date IFRS and VAT knowledge.
