Electrical and Instrumentation - Project Manager
Location: Ellesmere Port -Essar Stanlow Refinery
Contract : 12 months (Fixed term contract)
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation - Project Manager has arisen with one of our clients, a world leader within many industries. This role is placed within Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, Petrochemicals industry.
Role
Electrical and Instrumentation Project manager will take full accountability in all Electrical and Instrumentation ( E&I ) Project construction project, including but not limited to HSE, quality, technical & productivity.
Responsibilities
* Electrical and Instrumentation Project manager will be responsible for Production of E&I estimates within the customer owned data base.
* Management of change - cost variation and schedule. Ensure standard project control management is adopted for the project, monitoring KPI’s and compliance of procedures.
* Set and manage achievable goals and targets for the site team and ensure project personnel in your team are competent.
* You will be accountable for the quality of work delivered by your team/department
* Input to the management of and delivery of labour resource and materials for the contract.
* Co-ordination of vendors and sub-contractors.
* Ensure clear and approved work scopes are available for the project team.
* Contribute to meetings/presentations/reviews (formal and informal) with the Project/Site Stakeholders for the effective communication and monitoring of progress.
* Ensure all project controls meet or exceed the project Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
Qualifications
* HNC/HND Electrical and Electronic Engineering-Desirable
* IOSH Managing Safely-Desirable
* COMPEX - Desirable
* APM P – Desirable
