Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly organised Band 3 Support Medical Secretary to work 37.5 hours per week, working at Brian Hore Unit in West Didsbury. Main duties of the job Undertake audiotyping and clerical duties for your consultants, including minute taking as required, clinical letters, reports, discharge correspondence and clinical activity data inputting. This may include administrative support relating to consultant tutorial work. Provide first point of contact for written and telephone enquiries on behalf of your consultant, using judgement to establish validity and priority of the contact. Deal with any admission enquiries using judgement and observing patient confidentiality at all times. The post-holder will work as part of a dynamic team supporting medical secretaries (as and when), the admin team, consultants, clinicians and team managers in the smooth running of the South Mersey CMHT.
