JOB SUMMARY
Energy Maritime Associates & Archer Knight, a global energy market intelligence and consultancy group, is seeking a sales manager to support the growth of its services and products sales. The role’s location can be flexible to suit the individual’s personal circumstances.
This is an opportunity to be part of the management team of a dynamic and growing company.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, assisting with the setting of sales targets, analysing performance data, and ensuring sales goals are met and exceeded.
The ideal candidate has experience of the entire sales process excelling at lead generation, relationship building and deal closing. We are seeking someone who is a quick learner with a successful track record in sales.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Sales Strategy Development: Creating and implementing comprehensive sales plans aligned with company objectives, including market analysis and target customer identification.
2. Sales Targets: Assisting with the setting of realistic sales targets and subsequent tracking progress against goals plus identifying areas for improvement.
3. Performance Monitoring: Regularly analysing sales data and reporting of monthly corporate key performance indicators.
4. Customer Relationship Management: Fostering strong relationships with key clients and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
5. Sales Pipeline Management: Actively monitoring the sales pipeline, identifying potential bottlenecks, and taking necessary actions to ensure consistent sales flow.
6. Reporting and Analysis: Generating monthly corporate key performance indicators including sales reports, presenting key insights to management, and identifying areas for improvement.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
Essential requirements:
* Minimum of five or more years of experience in sales within a corporate setting.
* Proven record of success from planning to closing.
Desirable requirements:
* Degree qualified.
* Energy sector experience.
* Experience with CRM systems and reporting outputs.

* High level of motivation with a ‘can do’ attitude.
* Self-starter.
* Customer focused.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Drafting of commercial proposals.
* Ability to travel as and when reasonably required.
MEASUREMENT OF PERFORMANCE - DELIVERABLES
* Become the primary point of contact for client sales.
* Opportunity screening for bid / no bid recommendations.
* Production of Monthly Sales Corporate Key Performance Indicators.
* Involvement in corporate strategy meetings for product development and enhancements.
TRAVEL REQUIRED
* Travel to client sites (local).
* Attendance at industry trade shows and events (local, national and international as relevant).
* Occasional national travel.
* Occasional international travel.
