WA is working exclusively with a professional services firm based in Edinburgh to source an FPA Manager. This role will be responsible for leading financial planning and analysis across the business, ensuring accurate forecasting and providing valuable financial insights to support strategic decision-making. The jobholder will play a key role in enhancing internal reporting, financial modelling, and business performance tracking while working closely with senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly financial forecasts, ensuring revenue, cost, and cashflow projections are accurately maintained. Develop and maintain financial reporting, delivering key insights to senior management. Analyse budget vs actual performance, identifying trends and variances. Support budgeting and reforecasting processes across the organisation. Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to assess financial performance expectations. Assist in regulatory reporting and compliance submissions. Oversee cashflow management and debtor tracking, ensuring timely invoicing and collections. Evaluate and enhance existing FPA processes and systems, recommending improvements where needed. Support month-end and year-end financial activities, including audit preparation. Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support business decision-making. Experience / Skills Needed Qualified accountant (CA/ACA/ACCA) with post-qualification experience. Strong financial planning analysis background with experience of presenting financial information to key stakeholders Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present financial data effectively. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams. Experience in process automation and reporting improvements. Proven ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with financial modelling experience being essential. Experience working with financial systems (NetSuite experience desirable).
