We are currently seeking a dynamicStore Managerwith a strong background in skincare to lead our flagship store, delivering exceptional customer service and creating a luxury experience for our clients.
As theStore Managerfor our flagship skincare retail store, you will be responsible for overseeing all store operations while maintaining a strong focus on skincare expertise. You will lead a team of skincare advisors and beauty professionals, ensuring the store offers tailored skincare consultations, product recommendations, and expert service. You will be the face of the brand, responsible for driving sales, creating a personalized shopping experience, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction in line with our brand values.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:
* Lead and inspire a team of skincare consultants, beauty advisors, and retail staff, ensuring high levels of motivation and performance.
* Recruit, train, and develop employees with a focus on customer service excellence.
* Provide ongoing coaching and development to the team, particularly on skincare ingredients, routines, and trends, ensuring they can provide expert advice to customers.
* Create a positive, team-oriented culture that emphasizes collaboration, professional growth, and a passion for sales in skincare.
Customer Experience:
* Ensure each customer receives personalized skincare consultations, with tailored product recommendations based on skin type, concerns, and goals.
* Educate customers about skincare ingredients, routines, and proper product use, creating a knowledgeable and trust-based relationship.
* Address customer feedback and resolve any concerns with professionalism and care, maintaining the store’s reputation for outstanding service.
* Stay up to date with the latest skincare trends and innovations to offer cutting-edge advice and solutions to clients.
Sales & Performance Management:
* Drive sales and meet KPIs by promoting products and services that meet customers’ unique skincare needs.
* Drive strategies to promote and engage customers in seasonal promotions, skincare events, and new product launches.
* Manage inventory and ensure optimal stock levels and appropriate management of stock movement and P & L reporting.
* Collaborate with the corporate team to plan and execute skincare-focused promotions, in-store events, and seasonal campaigns.
* Engaging a team to be thoroughly educated in productivity, product knowledge, the ELEMIS customer journey and retaining loyalty.
* Build influential relationships with key partners and influencers in the business
Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation:
* Ensuring high standard that showcases best in class standards and supports productivity in sales density
* Collaborating with the village and ELEMIS VM and being fully compliant.
Operations & Administration:
* Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring that all staff are well-trained in store policies, skincare protocols, and customer service standards.
* Manage schedules and operational budgets while ensuring efficient store practices.
* Maintain accurate inventory levels and oversee the replenishment process to ensure stock availability for high-demand products.
* Monitor store performance and report on metrics such as sales growth, customer satisfaction, and team productivity.
* Manage the systems for stock takes, end of day sales and month end procedures.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Minimum of 2+ years of experience in retail management, ideally in a skincare, cosmetics, or beauty fast moving, high volume environment.
* Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Proven sales ability with a strong focus on driving productivity and up-selling.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to educate and engage customers.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage both the operational and customer-facing aspects of the business.
* Experience with retail management systems, sales reporting tools, and basic office software example. Excel, PowerPoint, PDQ.
* Must be able to handle various tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced retail environment.
