Reporting to our Merchandiser, you’ll be supporting the Product team in maximising sales through effective management of stock. What you’ll be responsible for as a Junior Merchandiser: Prepare weekly Monday trade sales analysis through report running and analysis. Analyses and monitors best and worst sellers and makes informed recommendations for action. Ensures that best sellers reach their full potential, and any product risks are identified and managed in a timely manner. Weekly review line cards to manage our ‘Core’ products stock and sales forecasts and maintaining >90% size availability. Managing critical path, stock ordering process and delivery schedules- working closely with suppliers and supporting the MAA’s and AMs to ensure deliveries are on time for key launches. Assist in managing total company and sub-category WSSIs, monitoring business performance and identifying opportunities, as well as any potential risk in stock. Building and utilising season reviews/lessons learnt to support in future planning and strategy planning in conjunction with the wider product team. Assist the Merchandiser in range and option planning. Any other ad hoc duties as required. Requirements Experience as an established Assistant Merchandiser or already working at Junior Merchandiser level. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Analytical and a numbers thinker Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel required (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables etc) Good communication skills, both verbal and written as you will be working with a range of colleagues and prospective employees at all levels. Great problem-solving skills Ability to manage your own time.
