KeyResponsibilities:
* Managea portfolio of corporate clients serving as the key point ofcontact and leading their corporation tax compliancecycle.
* Assistwith the preparation and review of corporation tax computations andreturns ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant tax laws andregulations.
* Supportthe Corporation Tax Manager/Senior Manager in managing clientengagements maintaining client communication and meeting deadlinesfor submissions and payments (includingQIPs).
* Researchtechnical points identify potential risks and recommend appropriatesolutions.
* Collaboratewith other team members to manage crossteam workflow gathernecessary information for tax compliance and ensure accuratereporting.
* Respondto HMRC enquiries on behalf of clients including preparingdocumentation and explanations asneeded.
* Identifyopportunities for tax savings and efficiencies such as tax creditsreliefs and incentives and support theirimplementation.
* Stayup to date on changes in tax legislation and regulations assesstheir impact on clients and communicate updates to relevantstakeholders.
* Contributeto the development and maintenance of tax compliance policiesprocedures and controls to ensure effective tax risk management forclients and thefirm.
* Mentorand developtrainees.
* Assistwith ad hoc tax projects such as restructuring initiatives mergersand acquisitions by providing tax analysis and support to seniorteammembers.
* Buildand maintain relationships with clients understand their businessneeds and provide highquality tax services to support theirobjectives.
* Manageworkflow efficiently monitor the status of every job and takepersonal responsibility and accountability for yourwork.
* Becommercially minded work within budgets manage WIP for your jobsand take responsibility forinvoicing.
Requirements
* Newlyqualified Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) and/or Chartered Accountant(ICAEW ACCA ICAS CA) or equivalent internationalqualification.
* Provenability and experience in preparing corporation tax computationsand returns for single entities and groups ofcompanies.
* Experiencein the following areas isdesirable:
o TaxCompliance for Groups ofCompanies
o Research& Development Tax Relief Claims (SMEs & RDEC forLargeCompanies)
o Preparationof Corporate Interest RestrictionReturns
o Preparationof Capital AllowancesReports
* Developednumerical literacy and communicationskills.
* Abilityto build internal and external relationships and deliver qualityclientservice.
* Experienceusing tax software packages ideally Digita (training will beprovided).
