Job Description:
Job Duties:
1. Provide support to students age : 2- 19 years old. with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
2. Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
3. Support the classroom teacher in creating a positive learning environment
4. Help students with SEN to access the curriculum and participate in all activities
5. Monitor and track progress of students with SEN
Required Qualifications:
6. Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
7. Experience working with students with SEN
8. Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
9. Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting
10. Understanding of the UK educational system and SEN policies
11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
12. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
13. Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
14. Additional training in specific areas of SEN support
Working Conditions:
15. Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
16. Contract-based role with potential for extension
17. Work within a school environment alongside teaching staff
18. Potential for some flexibility in working hours based on school requirements
