Key Responsibilities As an Events Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of events. Your duties will include but not be limited to: Customer Interaction: Liaise with clients to understand and meet their event requirements, ensuring excellent pre- and post-event support. Event Logistics: Plan and organise logistical requirements, including the preparation of event-specific documentation and any required solutions Equipment Management: Prepare, test, and conduct safety checks on event equipment to ensure it meets all standards. Event Delivery: Execute events to a high standard, working both independently and as part of a team and be confident in the use of IT to support live events as they are happening. Customer Engagement: Confidently interact with customers and participants, ensuring their satisfaction at all stages of the event. Data Management: Analyse and present data and results to customers and the public in a clear and professional manner. Specialist Systems: Operation of specialist equipment hardware and software at sporting events. Technical Proficiency: Work with Microsoft office, event-specific software (training provided) be able to implement IT skills as part of event preparation and delivery and possess the willingness to learn new timing and results systems where required. What Were Looking For To succeed in this role, you should: Be flexible, as regular weekend work is a key part of this position. Have strong and established technical and IT skills, alongside a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems where required. Demonstrate excellent planning and time management abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Possess a clean and valid driving license, as travel to events using company or hire vehicles is required. Be comfortable working under pressure and ensuring the success of every event on a personable level with stakeholders and be confident in your ability to use IT and technical solutions to ensure successful outcomes.
