Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Main duties are listed in the job description, some core duties are below:
1. Have responsibility as a Quality lead for the SARC, providing expertise on all matters appertaining to quality and accreditation systems.
2. Maintain an in-depth working knowledge of current legislation, updates, changes and any new legislation in relation to the Quality Standards. Ensure policies, practices and procedures meet the requirements of the relevant Quality standards to prevent discrepancy. Interpret the information and disseminate to the team to ensure ongoing compliance and achievement of accreditation.
3. Lead on the internal and external audits required within the Trust, for the UKAS accreditation and for NHS England's yearly quality schedule.
4. Perform Quality Assurance of audit reports, provide feedback to the team. Monitor audit findings, negotiate resolutions with the team and ensure findings are resolved in a timely manner. Analyse root causes and corrective actions taken.
5. Offer telephone support to callers requiring assistance surrounding sexual assault and rape.

Qualifications & Education
Essential criteria
* Evidence of continuing education or developments.
* Educated to degree level in subject relevant to the role or equivalent experience.
Desirable criteria
* Project management experience.
Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
* Awareness of the Forensic Regulator guidelines and how they fit into SARCs.
* Awareness of UKAS accreditation.
* Knowledge and experience of research and audit.
* Knowledge of clinical governance.
* Knowledge and experience of dealing with people who have been sexually assaulted or raped.
* Knowledge and experience of using IT systems.
Desirable criteria
* Project development experience.
