We are currently delivering a variety of projects across the four Market Towns after securing funding from central government through the Future High Streets Fund with MHCLG, the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority, National Highways and CIL.
Whilst several projects are in delivery we have other projects that are being brought forward over the next two years. Whilst some of these projects are being led by the council, we are also working in partnership with our Town and Parish Councils and also other partners including the County Council and NHS.
We have an Apprentice Opportunity as a Project Officer looking to support the team and deliver smaller projects whilst undertaking training in Project Management, this role will have formal training which will be supported by the council.

Collaborative working will be essential, this role will appeal to someone with fantastic interpersonal skills who is able to engage and motivate others to achieve a shared vision.
The ability to formulate solutions and then lead on their implementation will be essential.
The team work on a flexible basis with the expectation that work can be done in the office and from home, we would expect people to be able to attend meetings as required in our offices in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire and meet with relevant stakeholders as and when required.
