Responsible Sourcing and Sustainability Manager

In this role, you will be accountable for managing and mitigating the commercial, legal and reputational risks associated with poor ethical and environmental supplier performance across our Group-wide global supply chain and assuring security of supply for the commodities our core brand offerings rely on.
Location: Dunstable, hybrid - a minimum of 3 days per week in the office

What you’ll do:
* Assess the organisation’s current supply chain performance and lead in formulating a business response to the key issues.
* Define the plc targets and commitments for responsible sourcing and ensure they are met.
* Develop and manage the implementation of responsible sourcing strategy.
* Ensure compliance with relevant supply chain legislation such as EU Deforestation Act, UK Forest Risk Commodities Act and future requirements such as CSRD and CSDDD.
* Influence stakeholders to gain support for integrating sustainability into core procurement processes.
What we need:
* Knowledge and passion for Sustainability including subject matter expertise for relevant areas of the programme, for example ethical trade.
* Experience managing or undertaking ethical audits (e.g. SMETA / BSCI).
* Responsible and ethical sourcing project management.
* Understanding of how Sustainability can add value to our business (to the customer, our team and shareholders).
