Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEN Outreach Tutor

Job Duties:
- Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an outreach setting.
- Create engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to individual learning styles and abilities.
- Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure academic growth.
- Collaborate with SEN coordinators, teachers, and parents to develop personalised learning plans.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
- Experience working with students with SEN in an educational setting.
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- A degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering English and Maths lessons to diverse learners.
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs.
- Additional training in specific SEN interventions or techniques.
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours with flexibility in scheduling.
- Temporary position with the potential for extension.
- Work in an outreach capacity, visiting students in various locations.
- Collaborative work with educational professionals and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
