The Role:
Due to the continued growth of the business, an opportunity exists for a Management Account to join our busy Finance department. The successful candidate will be involved in the preparation and distribution of accurate management accounts across a range of GAP's operating divisions. This will include providing commentary to enhance the budget holder's understanding of their financial results. The successful candidate will prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure that reconciling items are investigated and cleared on a timely basis. They will also support with management of assets, ensuring that these are being recorded accurately, assist with the year-end external audit and preparation of consolidated management accounts file for the Group. They will also support continuous improvement of business systems and processes, including an ongoing ERP upgrade project.
Experience/Skills
1. Be working towards a relevant professional account qualification or have extensive experience in a similar role.
2. Highly numerate with excellent MS Office skills (particularly Excel)
3. Confident, self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative.
