The opportunity: The Preboarding team is a Candidate Care Centre of Excellence for our recruitment process, offering an exceptional experience to our candidates after they accept an offer through to their first day as new joiners. We're looking for someone like you who has the autonomy to become a key partner, working with recruiters, candidates, and 3rd party teams to ensure a smooth and well managed end-to-end experience for new joiners and business stakeholders. Your key responsibilities: Using your strong knowledge surrounding all of our recruitment processes, excellent attention to detail and strong communication and relationship management skills you will spend most of your time independently managing all preboarding activities for candidates in specific business areas. Recruitment managers, recruiters, and business stakeholders will look to you to proactively monitor candidates progress again set preboarding SLAs, weekly reporting, advice, and general support to the candidates. Furthermore, you will act as an ambassador, embodying the EY culture and reputation. Due to the often time critical nature of tasks involved in the preboarding process a sense of urgency and proactivity is essential. Further details on your responsibilities are highlighted below: Proactively monitor incoming offer acceptance pipeline to plan 'candidate experience' effort and activities Liaise with the candidates and act as a single point of contact, ensure candidates' understanding of the timelines, requirements, and explain the roles of various contacts/systems in the process Act as single point of contact for data, insights and feedback on the preboarding experience as we follow our continuous improvement ethos to deliver a best-in-class candidate experience Work closely with functional leads (BM/Sterling/Talent Shared Services/Immigration) to manage each new joiner progression through the process and to raise and resolve issues as they arise. Proactive timely updates to recruiters on candidates preboarding progress to enable accurate business stakeholder updates and actions Proactive management of SL actions and approvals required (e.g. sign off on the Red/Amber flags etc) Issue escalation and resolution, root cause analysis, and knowledge capture to drive continuous improvement Skills and attributes for success: In-depth knowledge of on shore and offshore recruitment processes with the ability to clearly set out procedures to candidates You will be proactive and well organised with experience in working in a fast-paced environment Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail in a busy environment Ability to work with a sense of urgency will be required to manage the time sensitive pre-boarding tasks effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good working knowledge of MS Office in particular Outlook, MS Teams and Excel.
