You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.
The Professional Qualifications Team (PQT) have a distinct role dealing with the administration and management of all professional qualifications. The ICAEW’s ACA qualification and the exams of the tax professional bodies are the routes most commonly followed by our people. Manage the review of the content of the firmwide day one induction.
Lead on reviewing the reward process for trainee promotions working with Reward and the Streams.
Develop systems and processes to increase operational efficiency including the use of Workday.
Work with HR and the Streams to develop our programme of on-going care, coaching and advice to our early in career (EIC) students.
Work with the SSC to map process flows and put controls in place to ensure accuracy of data.
Lead on the documentation and testing of processes within PQ relating to ISQM1.
Manage the annual process of reviewing training agreements working with Employee Relations and our external legal advisors.
Lead on various projects across all Streams including reviewing our Industrial Placement offering.
Knowledge of professional qualifications such as ACA, CTA, ACCA and CIMA is desirable.
Experience of Workday desirable.
