As our new Shop Supervisor, you will assist and support our Shop Manager to run our Stanground shop. You will have retail experience with the commercial awareness to deliver sales. You’ll have a positive attitude and good judgement to do the right thing. It is essential that you enjoy engaging with people and have a good understanding of financial and IT administration.
Responsibilities:
1. Use your skills and retail experience to help drive business, push sales, and achieve targets.
2. Lead a team to deliver great customer service to our donors and customers.
3. Work with the local community to generate sufficient donated stock to drive sales.
4. Help to recruit, train & retain a volunteer team.
5. Set high standards of merchandising and housekeeping, ensuring health and safety is a priority.
6. Manage effective stock processes to ensure well-merchandised, fresh, seasonal stock at all times.
7. Act as a brand ambassador for Sue Ryder, supporting in-store campaigns.
8. Manage an effective stock process through the Epos operation.
