Purpose of Role: Weir uses sustainability data to support decision making across the business as well as external reporting. This role gathers and validates sustainability data from across Weir Group; ensures a full and accurate greenhouse gas and ESG data set is maintained; and supports sustainability reporting and ad hoc analysis and project work.

Key Responsibilities:
* Sustainability reporting tools: support maintenance and development of Group-wide software tools to capture accurate, reportable data; provide training and first stop "help desk" for global operations teams; work with external supplier to improve functionality and develop bespoke projects as required.
* Data gathering & analysis: lead accounting of scope 1&2 footprint data, quarterly data validation and year-end assurance; integrate further environmental data including operational water and waste; support data gathering and accounting of environmental footprint data including scope 3 and Avoided Emissions (AE).
* Lead on the maintenance and development of benchmarking database, covering peers and key customers, and provide analysis and insights as required.
* Safety first: demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
* Excellent Excel analytical skills and attention to detail to quickly identify and resolve data gaps and variances.
* Technical flexibility to work with specialist third-party tools (Strata and Urjanet), as well as Weir governance, consolidation, and presentation tools - Common Data Platform, Collibra.
* Experience working in remote and dispersed teams to engage users and provide technical support.
* Comfort with deadlines to provide timely data for external assurance and reporting.
