We are seeking a confident, tenacious and professional person to join our client at their small, busy office in Thetford, Norfolk. Working as a B2B Telesales Executive, this permanent position is office-based working from 8am-4:30pm Monday to Friday.
The basic salary is £26,000 per annum, plus uncapped commission (paid monthly) – projected at an additional £2,000 per annum.
The Company
Our client is a successful and well-established outsourcing firm who offer telesales and marketing services to a wide range of clients across many different sectors.
Their small, very friendly and very professional team currently stand at 8 members of staff but are currently experiencing a period of growth, which will take the total team size to 12.
The Job
The B2B Telesales Executive will work closely with the whole team; from partaking in client onboarding calls to help craft a successful sales strategy for the client, to working seamlessly alongside marketing and market research to discuss and act on findings.
This is a phone and desk-based sales role, where you’ll be targeted to make 80 calls per day, using leads generated by your colleagues. The target is to try and glean a morsel of information, or an ‘in’ out of around half of those calls daily.
Other duties and tasks will involve:
1. Conduct proactive B2B sales calls using cold and warm leads, to screen and qualify prospects.
2. Manage incoming call-backs from designated accounts.
3. Create tailored scripts and email templates for each client’s project.
4. Devise and implement sales strategies based on insights gained on calls, but also from information provided by colleagues.
5. Report on all sales activities and communications, backing up with statistics.
6. Keep databases and CRM systems up to date.
7. Engage with clients through face-to-face, phone, and virtual meetings.
8. Seek to go beyond just making calls – aim to foster relationships, discern client needs, pinpoint opportunities, and devise solutions.
Requirements
This role would suit somebody who has a lot of confidence, but is also methodical, process-driven and enjoys a focused, disciplined working environment. You’ll need to have an inquisitive mind and enjoy communicating with a wide range of people. Whilst the team are really committed to doing a great job for their clients and work hard to focus on their activity – they are friendly, collaborative, and supportive and have a laugh, too – so being a team player and open, honest communicator is essential.
To be considered, it is essential that you have previous experience in a sales role, ideally working in a targeted telesales/outbound position.
