We’re looking for Support Mentors, Learning Mentors and Specialists in Autism to join a dedicated team in Warwickshire, with fixed working hours ranging from 22 to 37 hours per week. This rewarding role is ideal for professionals who have experience working with young people with disabilities and want to make a meaningful impact on their education journey. Salary Range: £22,011–£22,307 for Learning Mentors; £22,011–£25,078 for Autism Specialists. Hours: 22-37 hours per week. 36 weeks per year (term time only) Salary after pro rata examples: 22 hours learning mentor - £10,563 – £10,705 23 hours specialist mentor (autism) - £11,480– £12,582 37 hours learning mentor - £17,765-£18,004 37 hours specialist mentor (autism) - £18,468.41 - £20,240.84 Professional Development: A Level 2 qualification in autism is an advantage and will place you on a higher salary band. You may develop in the role to become a specialist learning mentor. You will be supporting learners aged 16 in the classroom on a 1-1 basis with a potential for small group sessions. As a support mentor you will act as an academic support with a higher needs learner, a background in care with children or young adults would be particularly suitable. As a learning mentor you will support a student with their academic success, experience working in a classroom or other environment coaching and developing young people is a must. As a specialist mentor you will work with learners with ASD and a qualification in ASD or similar is essential.
