We’re looking for a passionate Digital Analyst to help drive our digital strategies and insights, supporting key teams like Digital Trading, Performance Marketing, and Digital Product.
In this role, you'll be a vital part of optimizing our digital ecosystem, improving conversion rates, and maximizing the effectiveness of our media spend.
Role Overview:
As a Digital Analyst, you’ll lead Digital Analytics for both retail and our veterinary services, providing actionable insights and fostering a data-driven culture. You'll work cross-functionally with digital teams to drive budget optimization, enhance onsite performance, and provide strategic reporting and analysis that fuels growth.
Key Responsibilities
Paid media effectiveness and budget optimization
1. Report on channel performance and return on investment.
2. Make recommendations to improve budget efficiency.
3. Support test and learn roadmap with relevant analytics and insights.
Onsite analytics and insights
1. Deep dive in onsite performance.
2. Provide insights on funnel flow through.
3. Work with Digital Product to analyse the success of new features.
Reporting and dashboarding
1. Drive the reporting roadmap, working with data visualization to ensure dashboarding meets business requirements.
2. Accountable for weekly and periodic reporting for ecommerce department.
3. Work closely with ecommerce teams (e.g. Digital optimization executives), to increase analytical skillset and promote a data driven approach to optimization through self-serve dashboarding.
Business cases
1. Work on business cases analysis looking across various metrics, such as media effectiveness, onsite performance and delivery costs and income.
Ways of working
1. Be the go-to person all things analytics and insights within the ecommerce team.
2. Be a self-starter, working cross functionally to help improve data driven decision making.
Essential Experience
1. 3 years+ experience in Digital Analytics, eCommerce or Digital Marketing.
2. Experience working in medium/large online business required but experience in pet supplies is not required.
3. Skilled using key Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and insights tools such as Google Analytics and Power BI.
4. A dynamic person, who finds solutions and can drive key initiatives forward in a matrix style organisation.
5. Experience partnering with key stakeholders and holding good relationships.
6. A team player that seeks new opportunities and questions the status quo.

1. This is a hybrid role, 2 days a week in our Handforth, Cheshire office.
