Job Description - Technical Administrator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Administrator to support our clients engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling technical documentation, coordinating administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of engineering processes. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and technical skills, ideally with experience in the engineering or manufacturing sector.
Main Responsibilities
Manage the training matrix Working with the wider team, arrange and organise training activities with our training partners.
Maintain and raise PO orders – For the creation of purchase requisitions, this is technically specified by other members of the team, however for repeated orders there is responsibility required to ensure that technical specifications that may be copied are done so correctly and in-line with the Design and Technical engineers’ instructions
Book logistics, manage transportation database Receive requests from site and works for transport, and turn these into actions for transport contacts
Supervisor fleet vehicles Book in and out fleet cars, book hire cars as required. Monitor MOT’s, services etc. • Reports as necessary As required by OG&C team, compile documents and files into PDF format for distribution to clients.
Assist in the preparation and submission of technical reports, specifications, and manuals.Requirements
Proven experience as a Technical Administrator, Engineering Administrator, or similar role in the engineering or manufacturing sector.
Strong understanding of engineering documentation, drawings, and technical specifications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems.
A diploma or degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
CCNSG or IOSH desired but not essential more information
40 hours p/week
Monday - Friday
No remote working
