About the job:
Our client currently requires a Systems Engineering Consultant to work across a range of activities at various stages of the systems engineering lifecycle.
Responsibilities include:
1. Research and concept development of systems solutions.
2. Development and management of system requirements, including the use of tools such as DOORS and RDL.
3. Development of abstract architectures to describe systems using:
1. Languages such as UML and SysML.
2. Tools such as Rhapsody, SparxWorks Enterprise Architect, MooD.
3. Frameworks such as MoDAF and NAF.
4. Design process engineering for hardware, software, and mixed technology systems.
5. Systems safety engineering, including the analysis of the systems safety requirements.
6. Systems integration, including structuring and partitioning of complex systems.
7. Systems performance evaluation and its application to verification and validation.
8. System Integrity analysis including resilience and impact assessment.
9. Through life environmental impact evaluation of complex systems.
10. Systems qualification and acceptance.
About you:
As a Systems Engineering Consultant, your skills and qualifications will include:
1. A leading practitioner of Systems Engineering activities across several areas of activity, experienced in more than one phase of the lifecycle.
2. A background in systems or a similar engineering discipline within a complex engineering environment, often with related procurement experience.
3. A minimum of a technical Degree, equivalent qualification, or experience.
4. Comfortable with resolving ambiguity in task, system, and requirements definition.
5. Effective communication with a variety of stakeholders.
6. Delivery-focused with determination to make a positive difference.
7. Flexible and adaptable.
8. Experience in working closely with demanding customers.
9. Experience in a relevant technology discipline, process, or tool.
