Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Senior Credit Controller to join our team. You will have comprehensive knowledge of private hospital collections, dealing with patients, embassies, private medical insurance companies and other funders. In this hands-on role the duties are varied and will include developing strong customer relationships, reducing aged debt, cash collection/processing and dealing with queries. Acting as an ambassador within the team, the Senior Credit Controller will have an enhanced level of responsibility to coach and be a “buddy” to new and existing team members. The post holder will work closely with the Credit Control Team Leader to ensure the efficient running of daily collection activities. What makes us different? Under the direction of the Credit Control Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that daily collection activities are performed timely and to a high standard Management and collection of outstanding debts from patients, embassies, private medical insurance companies (AXA, Bupa etc.) and other third party payers Perform daily cash reconciliation and prepare banking in readiness for collection by external security service Monitor collections metrics using dashboards to drill down into data presented in the components Prepare monthly list of accounts for approval and assignment to external Collection Agency What we need from you? Minimum GCSE/High School Diploma or equivalent Proven track record as a Senior Credit Controller within Credit Control team and experience in managing customer relationships, reporting on debt position, cash allocation and query resolution is essential Credit Control experience in UK private healthcare is essential Strong Excel skills is essential Strong customer service skills is essential Experience of working with the available functions on Healthcode including claim status, SMS and remittance processing etc. is desirable Knowledge of Embassy billing structures and follow up processes is desirable Knowledge and awareness of collection guidelines, insolvency process and limitations under PCI and GDPR regulations What we can offer you?
