An opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor to join a Kettering based Groundworks Business to operate within their small commercial team. The client, with an annual turnover of £12m, is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor to help expand the business. The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director to integrate them into the commercial team and progress their career with a family-run business.

Duties:

1. Optimising contract profitability
2. Provide quotations to clients for variations
3. Comprehensive understanding of Groundworks
4. Accurate monthly cost and value reports
5. All other daily tasks performed by an Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Requirements:

1. NO experience as a Quantity Surveyor needed but is preferable.
2. Time management skills and meeting deadlines
3. Motivated to learn and progress their professional career
4. An understanding of Microsoft packages e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
