We Are Staffordshire is a partnership funded by Staffordshire County Council and exists to promote and celebrate the county, raise its profile beyond our borders and support work to attract inward investment, talent and tourism for the benefits of Staffordshire people and businesses. This role will be crucial in supporting the wider team in our place marketing efforts through the delivery of events, updating our stakeholders using a variety of communications, digital marketing support, content management and ensuring our governance is functioning effectively. This is a hybrid role. One day per week will be based in Stafford. Main Responsibilities Your main responsibilities will include: Supporting the development of the Staffordshire Ambassador network through communication with existing and potential new contributors Helping us to continue to grow our brand profile by creating content and copywriting for marketing materials, digital platforms, social media and events. Supporting the wider team in the organisation and delivery of place marketing activities, such as events and conferences. Assisting in the delivery of campaigns, projects and partnership activities. Liaising and collaborating with a range of stakeholders. As our Place Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in shaping our activities. You’ll work to engage our stakeholders, drive brand awareness and raise the profile of our ambassador network. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for marketing and communications with strong interpersonal skills. You should have excellent copywriting and IT skills and the ability to manage a busy and varied workload.
