Summary:
As Housing Services Assistant, you’ll be learning how to become a customer champion at CCHA. You’ll be trained on how to provide excellent service to our customers by answering their housing questions and helping them find solutions. You’ll be part of the first point of contact for customers, learning how to handle incoming calls and making outbound calls when required.
About Us:
CCHA owns and manages approximately 3000 homes in the heart of Cardiff. We are passionate about working with tenants to enrich their communities and transform neighbourhoods into spaces where people want to live, work, and thrive.
About the Role:
As Housing Services Assistant, you’ll learn about different areas of housing, such as rent payments, keeping neighbourhoods safe, finding homes for people, and managing properties. You’ll take ownership of customer queries and work towards resolving them while providing support to our Neighbourhood Managers and other officers to help meet the needs of our tenants.
There will also be opportunities for you to grow by undertaking formal housing-related qualifications during your work time.
About You:
You’ll gain valuable experience and become a key part of the Housing Customer Service team, supporting our tenants. The team is pivotal in helping the housing and communities team meet their key accountabilities, such as sustainable tenancies, building trusted relationships with tenants, early intervention, and maximising income.
You will be asked to support these teams using your strong communication and administration skills.
Our Shared Values:
At CCHA, values and diverse thinking are just as sought after as technical skills and qualifications. Our values are embedded throughout the organisation, setting out how we work together and how decisions are made. Here at CCHA, we live our values by being:
Caring | Respectful | Trusting and Trustworthy | Honest | Brave | Yourself
