A highly motivated individual is required to provide administrative and financial support to the Highway Network Management Team within the Highways and Public Protection Department.
With excellent written and verbal communication skills, the candidate will be expected to operate all computerised, manual and telephone systems and procedures including electronic document management. The candidate will also provide work packages, issue licenses and permits, and monitor correspondence, enquiries and job completion through the production of reports on workload to assist the Senior Licensing and Enforcement Officer. You will also be required to provide a speedy response service to a range of requests from the public, elected members and other departments of the Authority. Fully competent in the use of spreadsheet packages such as Excel, you will maintain accurate records using a variety of computerised filing systems whilst monitoring and collating required financial information and other management reports.
You must have previous experience of providing administrative support in a similar role and be able to demonstrate excellent keyboard skills and competency in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of the Mayrise computer system, GIS and Map Info would also be advantageous.
