IPS Group are working with a market leading Insurance Company who are seeking a Senior Underwriter to join their well established and growing Leeds office. This opening is a great opportunity for someone wanting to take a step up as a Commercial Underwriter dealing with a varied caseload of policies across a particular class of business.
As Senior Underwriter, you will be working alongside a team experienced professionals in this unique and rewarding role. You will be responsible for your own pen providing excellent service to key stakeholders/brokers handling renewals, mid-term adjustments and referrals.
You will be predominantly focusing on a combined product as well as other areas such as PI & D&O with premiums ranging from a £5k up to £1million. This is a great opportunity for someone really wanting to deal with more complex renewal cases. There will be a desire to visit brokers across the region so if you are looking for something client facing then this may just be the role for you.
In return you will receive a competitive salary with a potential bonus of up to 25% as well as great benefits. You will also be supported in your insurance exams if you wish to do. The position will be based at their Leeds office which will offer hybrid working with 2 days from home.
