Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners.
* Develop students’ problem-solving, analytical, and reasoning skills through a variety of teaching methods and resources.
* Prepare students for GCSE Maths examinations, ensuring they have a solid understanding of key concepts and exam techniques.
* Use effective classroom management strategies to create a positive, focused learning environment.
* Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students improve and achieve their potential.
* Work collaboratively with the Maths department and contribute to curriculum planning and development.
* Attend staff meetings, parent evenings, and professional development sessions as required.

Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Maths.
* A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
* Experience teaching Maths at secondary school level, ideally across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* A passion for teaching Maths and the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
* An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
