This is a 20 hour position over 5 days.
Monday - Friday - Please note that the surgery is open Monday - Friday and provide enhanced hours which will need to be covered on a rotation.
We are looking for adedicated and productive Medical Administrator to support and enhance ourreception team.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of this role are varied and include general reception duties, taking patient enquiries both at front desk face to face and on the telephone, general day to day administration, econsults, emails, reports, scanning, recalls, prescriptions etc. This post will be half reception and half secretary work.

Job responsibilities
To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception dutiesand the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include, but are not limited to,greeting, and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system,booking appointments, the processing of information and assisting patients asrequired.
To act as the central point of contact for patients, thedistribution of information, messages, and enquiries for the clinical team,liaising with multi-disciplinary team members and external agencies such assecondary care and community service providers.
Tobe responsible for undertaking a wide range of administrative duties and theprovision of administrative support to the multidisciplinary team.
Dutiescan include, but are not limited to, supporting the administration andreceptionist teams with patient registration, booking appointments, processingof information (electronic and hard copy) in a timely manner and in accordancewith current policies.
To support staff with the distribution of information,messages, and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinaryteam members and external agencies such as secondary care and community serviceproviders.
