Indirects Procurement Manager required for my client who manages a group of diverse high-end and leading brands within the catering and hospitality sectors.
In this role as Indirects Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for procurement activities and strategic sourcing across multiple categories, supporting overall risk management strategy and compliance.
Key responsibilities of the Indirects Procurement Manager:
* Managing procurement strategies for a diverse range of product and service categories within the Indirects Procurement team.
* Develop and implement category strategies that optimize spend, increase purchasing income, and deliver strategic value.
* Manage complex tender processes, leveraging cross-category insights and negotiation strategies.
* Create and maintain a robust supplier performance evaluation framework.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers across various categories.
* Support cross-functional projects that drive efficiencies and innovation.
* Ensure procurement activities adhere to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
* Leverage technology and digital tools to enhance procurement effectiveness.
* Build and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders.
* Influence key business decision-makers and bring them on board with procurement category strategies while also taking into account business needs and requirements.
Qualifications and experience of the Indirects Procurement Manager:
* Proven track record in Indirect Procurement.
* Ability to carry out category management and expertise in strategic sourcing across multiple Indirect procurement categories.
* Understanding of procurement compliance requirements.
* Advanced understanding of services contract negotiation principles.
* Competent in using Procurement software.
