We are seeking to appoint the IMS Business Change Manager to work as part of our newly formed Inventory Management System Team. This role will assist the procurement vision to deliver a state-of-the-art Inventory Management System.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the IMS Project Manager (Deputy Head of Supply Chain) and Senior Business Change Manager in delivering the procurement, development, and implementation of the IMS.
2. Negotiate contracts and manage contract performance.
3. Ensure that organisational change drives the project requirements.
Main duties of the job
You will support the Deputy Head of Supply Chain and the IMS Senior Business Change Manager in setting strategies for deploying inventory management systems across various stock control areas.
The department maintains high standards of stock management across all areas of the hospital and is looking to revolutionise methodologies to transform the control and flow of consumables.
Person specification
Qualifications
* General Education up to GCSE/A Level/Diploma or equivalent NVQ level (including Maths and English) or equivalent standard.
* Educated to Degree Level or equivalent experience.
* Evidence of ongoing personal and management development.
* Qualification in Project Management such as PRINCE2 Foundation Qualification.
Previous Experience
* Working knowledge of project delivery and project governance.
* Working knowledge of procurement and performance management of contracts.
* Experience of effective team working and management of staff.
* Experience of developing effective systems for efficient administration.
* Experience of generating reports and providing management information to support organisation decision-making.
Evidence of Knowledge, Skills, and Aptitudes
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Effective leadership skills that motivate and involve a team.
* Good analytical skills with the ability to analyse situations.
* Ability to communicate and create relationships at all levels in the organisation.
Specific Requirements
* Ability to travel across sites/county as required.
