Job title: HR Business Partner - Factory
Location: Dalston, Cumbria
Salary: £50,000-£55,000 (depending on experience) + Car allowance + Potential Bonus + Pension +25 days holiday and 12 day Flex leave.

Position Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to join our Factory Leadership team in Dalston as a HR Business Partner. This is an exciting role, where you will work closely with all areas of our factory and warehouse providing best in class HR support, guidance, and governance.
A bit about us
Nestlé Dalston Factory in Cumbria is the European Centre for cappuccino and creamers producing a range of beverage products. These are produced through a highly automated PLC controlled process plant and automated filling and packing lines. It is continually developing and expanding leading brands such as Nescafé, Aero Hot Chocolate and Coffeemate. The factory is moving forward with continuous improvement principles and actively developing Lean/TPM processes so it’s an exciting time to be involved.

A day in the life of a HR Business Partner at our Dalston Factory
This role offers a real opportunity to partner site leaders as their trusted Business Partner from day one, providing HR support, coaching and development to empower managers. This role will provide the flexibility and autonomy of getting to the heart of people issues & working to develop fit for purpose solutions in line with the site strategy and plans, working always with a continuous improvement mindset.
You will:
* Support the successful execution of the HR strategy across the site.
* Act as a key point of contact for any employee relations issues that arise supporting leaders to ensure the appropriate resolution is achieved in a timely manner
* Work in collaboration with trade union representatives at both a local and national level
* Ensure our performance and talent management activities are understood, embedded, and delivered, to enable our people to successfully deliver against the business’ goals
* Be a key driver in upskilling our people managers capability specifically around our people’s development enabling everybody to be the very best that they can be
* Work with the wider HR team to develop our HR practices and processes
* Develop capability to ensure our people understand the HR model we work within and can efficiently access the solutions they need with ease
* Coach and develop leaders and managers
What will make you Successful?
Your career so far will demonstrate a track record within operational HR with a strong knowledge of Core HR processes such as performance management, talent management, recruitment & resourcing, employee relations, employment law, and organisational change. You will have a proven track record of working within an HR role delivering tangible outcomes that make a real difference to the business.
You will also;
Experience of case management and exposure
* Ideally have worked in a manufacturing or other ‘blue collar’ environment
* Have worked with and built excellent relationships with Trader Union partners
* Have Operational HR experience across the core HR processes (performance management, talent management, recruitment & resourcing, employee relations, organisational change)
* Proven experience with employee relation issues
* Have working knowledge of UK Employment Legislation
