We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join our independent Sales team and are looking for an individual who knows what it takes to meet the standards of our business ethos.
The Role:
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for nurturing current relationships while building positive new relations through selling an exciting range of products to prospective businesses, predominantly within the Liverpool Merseyside area with some additional work within the Chester area. You will report directly to the Field Sales Manager.

* Monitor competitor and independent market activity to ensure you are offering our customers the best solutions.

* Research, prospect and close new independent business opportunities and maintain a consistently healthy pipeline.
* Build and leverage strong customer relationships through a natural curiosity in the independent sector.
* Onboard new customers effectively and ensure a seamless transition to the Sales team.
Must be / have:
* Competitive, confident, and focused.
* Self-starter with the drive and determination to succeed.
* Confident with the adoption of new technology and new ways of working to improve customer experience and optimize performance.
* A passion for the food and catering industry.
* The successful candidate MUST have a background in Sales; preferably Foodservice working for a Wholesaler or Distributor.
* Credible experience and a successful track record of meeting targets.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment where high levels of resilience are required.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Organized and efficient with excellent time-management skills.
* Able to respond professionally and positively to identify and meet the needs of both internal and external customers.
* Reporting progress on the business regularly and defining action plans.
