We are seeking a dedicated HR Assistant to join our team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will manage the employee life-cycle, provide first-line HR support, and contribute to team projects. We're looking for a proactive team player committed to enhancing the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support recruitment efforts, on-boarding processes, and reference checks.
2. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
3. Update HR databases with employee changes (e.g., new hires, terminations, absences).
4. Provide payroll with necessary data such as absences, bonuses, and leave.
5. Respond to employee requests and prepare relevant HR documentation.
6. Work closely with the HR Manager on recruitment and retention strategies.
7. Assist with performance management processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
1. Previous experience as an HR Assistant or in a similar role.
2. Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
3. Solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
4. Strong organisational and communication skills.
5. GCSEs or equivalent required; an HR-related degree is advantageous.
