A day in the life of an Ascent FJT Qualified Instructor (QI)
As a Qualified Instructor on the Fast Jet Training Squadron’s at RAF Valley you will be part of a small niche team delivering world class Ground School and Synthetic training to the Military on the Hawk T2.
You will:
* Conduct ground-based instruction of military Phase IV Fast Jet Training (FJT) student Qualified Flying Instructors (QFIs) and ab-initio pilots in accordance with FJT syllabuses. The syllabus ranges from conversion to tactical and more advanced evolutions
* Conduct Computer Based Training/Computer Aided Instruction/Simulator training, including ground school lessons and simulated airborne events in accordance with FJT syllabuses
* Conduct other tasks related to Hawk TMk2 training as directed
* Assist Curriculum Design as Hawk TMk2 Subject Matter Expert (SME) in development and maintenance of FJT courseware

What will make you successful?
* Previous military experience operating as a pilot in a frontline fast-jet environment - Essential
* CFS Instructor category – Essential
* Previous experience of synthetic instruction – Highly Desirable
* Aircrew Instructor Course with Enhanced Instructional Techniques addon - Desirable
