Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our parents and visitors, providing exceptional service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy office environment.
Duties
1. Greet and welcome parents and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
2. Answer and direct phone calls with excellent phone etiquette.
3. Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
4. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently using computerised systems.
5. Handle administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and maintaining records.
6. Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
7. Utilise SIMS or ARBOR for various tasks.
8. Support the team with admin tasks as needed.
9. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to company policies.
Experience
1. Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.
2. Familiarity with SIMS or ARBOR and other office software is critical.
3. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Proficient in data entry with attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
