We’re Recruiting: Site Engineer (Suffolk)
Are you an experienced Site Engineer with a passion for delivering large-scale projects? Do you want to be part of an exciting, future-shaping venture? We’re looking for a talented Site Engineer to join our team on the groundbreaking Sizewell C project. As part of the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), you’ll help build one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects: a 3.2-gigawatt power station that will power up to 6 million homes for decades to come.
What’s the role? As a Site Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering some of the early stages of the Sizewell C Enabling Works, including key tasks like setting out, safety inspections, quality control, and managing site activities. From sea defences to earthworks, you’ll work on a variety of civil engineering tasks that will have a lasting impact on the UK's energy infrastructure.
What will you be doing?
Producing Task Briefing Sheets and Method Statements
Ensuring health and safety standards are met by carrying out site inspections and creating Permits to Dig
Establishing and maintaining survey equipment to provide accurate setting out information
Managing project productivity and quality, including the creation of as-built drawings and records
Working with the team to ensure project milestones are met while contributing to KPI tracking and commercial reporting
What we need from you:
A HNC/HND/Degree in a relevant discipline or extensive site experience
Experience within the utilities or construction industry
Strong communication skills to engage with multiple stakeholders and ensure the safety and efficiency of work on-site
A CSCS card and a full UK driving licence
