The ideal person will support the Service Manager and the team to lead, support and manage nine supported living services, which support ten people.
Your role will be to assist the service manager in delivering outstanding levels of care to the people we support. You will be working across nine sites, supporting ten individuals with all aspects of their daily lives, whilst mentoring and supporting the staff team to ensure that people are receiving high quality support that promotes independence and meets their goals and aspirations. Applicants will be able to work independently, using their own initiative. They will need to be a team player, with excellent communication skills who can cope under pressure.
You will have a person centred approach and work to Bethphages values, policies and procedures. Some elements of personal care will be required for this role. Sleep ins and weekend/bank holiday work may also required.
This role is full time off rota, however some support work may be required where needed. The successful candidate should be willing to work evening's and weekends to support the full staff team.
Due to the requirement of the service and the people we support, this role is for female applicants only.

About You:
Essential Requirements:
* Driver with UK manual licence and own vehicle.
* Level 3 in Health and Social Care or working towards
* An understanding of Person-Centred thinking and planning
* Good communication skills?.Good literacy skills
* Good IT knowledge/skills/systems
* Good knowledge and skills with Eclipse and Care Planner.
* Experience of working with people with Learning Disabilities and Autism
* To be able to work using own initiative as well as part of a team
* Experience of working with people with LD and Autism.
* Supervisory experience
* An understanding of Positive Behaviour Support
* A good understanding of compliance
