Job Summary
This job is based in Isle of Man and the office location is Southampton.
The Health Care Support Worker will provide assistance and support to individuals with physical, mental, and emotional needs. The role involves helping clients achieve a higher level of independence, enhancing their quality of life, and ensuring their well-being through personal care, daily living assistance, and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:
Personal Care:
* Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support clients with mobility, including using wheelchairs, lifts, and other aids.
* Help clients with feeding and ensuring they maintain a balanced diet.
Daily Living Assistance:
* Assist clients with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
* Accompany clients to appointments, social activities, and community events.
* Help clients manage their finances, including budgeting and paying bills.
Emotional and Social Support:
* Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
* Support clients in developing social networks and participating in community life.
* Listen to clients' concerns and provide emotional reassurance and support.
Healthcare Support:
* Administer medication as prescribed and monitor for any side effects.
* Assist with physical therapy exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
* Observe and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour to the relevant healthcare professionals.
Documentation:
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and clients' progress.
* Ensure all documentation complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Report any incidents or concerns promptly and appropriately.
Professional Development:
* Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
* Stay updated on best practices and new developments in care and support.
Qualifications:
* Care certificate is desirable.
* Previous experience in a care or support role is advantageous.
* Basic life support (BLS) and PMVA/ CPI certification is an advantage.
* Full UK licence is required.
* Access to own car is desirable.
* You must have the right to work within the UK.

Pay: £11.50-£12.00 per hour.
Expected hours: 20 per week.
